Who We Are

At our core, we're community builders. We leverage our experience and resources to help establish community-based mental health centers in regions with limited access to treatment.

As a global organization, we’re working to spread this recipe for recovery to areas of the world that lack resources to provide treatment.

Collaborators in Care

We work directly with local leaders and social practitioners to design sustainable, culturally relevant care models. Through daily support at no charge to members, we help bridge the current gap in mental health care by removing barriers to access.

Advocates for Global Mental Health Equity

Mental health systems are underfunded in countries across the globe. Millions of people with serious mental illness lack the care they need for their condition.

In addition to hands-on work at the local level, we advocate for increased access to care with global partners like WHO, Columbia University, and the UN.

Mission & Vision

Mission

Provide resources and expertise to develop sustainable community support for people with serious mental health issues in low- and middle-income countries through the creation of unique community resource centers.

Vision

To establish a global framework of sustainable, community-driven mental health solutions, ensuring care is accessible, culturally relevant, and impactful for generations to come.

Our Approach

Empowering communities is at the core of our approach. We combine global expertise with local knowledge to build impactful, community-driven support systems.

1. Local ownership

Local leaders, mental health practitioners, and community members guide our work, establishing local ownership.

2. Communities as therapy

Community centers offer a free and safe space to build relationships, regain self-efficacy, and access recovery resources.

3. Reliable access to medication

Supply chain issues, high costs, and counterfeit drugs limit access to psych meds. We partner with institutions and doctors to provide reliable access to quality medication.

4. Social enterprise

Social enterprise offers meaningful work for members while generating operational income, fostering long-term self-reliance.
